As a Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for working directly with local clients and advertising agencies to craft successful marketing and branding campaigns. We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-driven, passionate, charismatic, customer-focused, and creative individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must also possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
 
Responsibilities for this role may include:
– Expand local sales revenue by identifying and securing new clients
– Service and grow existing client relationships
– Develop short and long-range plans for revenue growth
– Sell broadcast radio and digital advertising
– Deliver compelling sales presentations
– Oversee all elements of the sales process for your clients
– Attend weekly sales meetings and training
– Attend station events as requested
 
To be considered for this position, you should have at least two years of outside sales experience, though it is not required. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills are essential. You must also possess a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, good communication skills, creative writing skills, and computer skills. Attention to detail and deadlines is a must.
